5.7mm recorded on site 12 hrs after planting, negated the benefit of better establishing Sicot 619B3XF. This rainfall event provided exceptional establishing conditions, however the for the rest of the season rainfall was sparse. Sicot 606B3F was not planted as part of this trial, it was however planted adjacent with grower supplied seed. Statistical analysis carried out post-harvest demonstrated there was no field bias across the entire trial site and so the yield result and quality data were presented at the Moree Seed and Sales meeting in June 2026.
