This trial was run to compare Sicala 320B3XF against Sicot 743B3XF, which has been yielding well in the Macquarie. Early in teh season there was some high thrips pressure, which the crops grew out of. In general, the season was drier than normal with a hot spell encountered at the end of January. This put pressure on irrigation decisions and management. Overcoming these challenges the commercially ginned trial had the Sicala 320B3XF going 16.9 ba/ha. An impressive result, given the season.
