"Neilo" 1 is a back to back field. It has a history of Verticillium Wilt. The season was extremely dry throughout the growing season. Reflecting on the situation at hand this field reinforced sometimes lost lessons on when the circumstances are not right and water is short it ultimately comes down to having good seed to soil contact which i did not have. A gappy plant stand will never make up for those types of short comings. The Sicot 748 B3F came through because of seedling vigour. That step between emptying the bag into the planter and seed placement is critical.
